Queries for M1 integration

Hi,

We are an HRP integrating our software with NDHM for M1. Wanted to know the following :

  1. Is registering a HIP mandatory for M1 sandbox integration? If yes, does it need to be an actual facility even for a sandbox integration? If yes, What is the API to be used?

  2. Is registering a public URL mandatory for M1 integration? If yes, then please share the reason. For M1 integration, do we expect the gateway to send back any response, other than the regular API response?
